Let’s be honest, pregnancy and parenthood can be A LOT.
Becoming a mother changes everything- your body, your relationships, your identity, and the way you see the world. It can be beautiful; but it can also feel overwhelming in a way that is hard to put into words or share with others. Even when you love your baby deeply, you might find yourself worrying constantly, feeling on edge, questioning yourself as a parent, or having thoughts that scare you. And if you’ve been wondering, “Is it just me?” - I promise, it’s not.
As a therapist and a mom, I understand how complex this season can be. You might be feeling pressure to “enjoy every moment”, even when your mind feels anything but calm. My work is about creating a space where you can exhale- where you can speak honestly about what’s happening inside without fear or judgement.
I specialize in helping women navigate perinatal and postpartum anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and OCD using evidenced based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness techniques. Together we’ll make sense of what you are feeling, learn tools to manage the anxiety, and help you reconnect with yourself in a grounded, compassionate way.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to:
explore the shifts and changes you’ve experienced as a human and mom
learn tools to manage anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and/or intrusive images
rebuild confidence and trust in yoruself as a parent
create space for rest, connection, and self-compassion
